From September 2022, I am a researcher in the department of mathematics at Uppsala University. My mentor is Svante Janson. I was a visiting postdoc at the Simons institute for the theory of computing at the University of California, Berkeley from September 2022 to October 2022. Here is a video of my talk at Simons.

Before this, from September 2020 to August 2022, I was a postdoc at NETWORKS. My host universities were the Eindhoven University of Technology and Leiden University. My mentors were Remco van der Hofstad and Frank den Hollander. From September 2018 to May 2020, I was a post-doctoral assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. At Michigan, my mentor was Erhan Bayraktar. In May 2018 I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Statistics and Operations Research (STOR) at UNC Chapel Hill. My thesis advisors were Shankar Bhamidi and Andrew Nobel

Broadly, my research interests span discrete probability theory, probabilistic combinatorics, and statistics. I am interested in problems that have originated from various branches of science, such as, network science, statistical physics, computer science, and mathematical finance. I try to develop mathematical techniques to understand and solve some of these problems. My recent works include exponential models on large networks, nonlinear large deviations, diffusion on sparse networks (a model for cascade, systemic risk etc.) and processes on percolated graphs. Please check my publications and preprints for more details regarding my research.
